Service Introduction

Service Philosophy

The club is dedicated to serving elderly residents aged 60+ and their carers in the Wong Tai Sin district. We believe that the elderly are treasures of the community, and our diverse services are designed to help them enjoy a joyful and fulfilling time in their golden years.

Scope of Services

We provide emotional support, service referral and coordination, regular follow-up care, skills training and gatherings, home visits, community outreach volunteering, health education seminars, interest classes, and community support networks. Additional services include rehabilitation equipment rental (wheelchairs, etc.), applications for external support services, and peer support groups. For carers, we offer specialised caregiving skills training and stress management activities.

Faith-based Activities

Elderly Blessing Fellowship programmes, "Praise-aerobics" sessions, festive celebration activities, and chaplaincy visits.

Case Management Support

Emotional support, service referrals, and ongoing case management.

Isolated Elderly Outreach

Home visits, community support network development.

Dementia Support Services

Cognitive assessments, medical referral coordination, cognitive training groups and seminars.

Carer Support

Rehabilitation equipment rental (wheelchairs, etc.), applications for external support services, peer support groups and regular gatherings, and family events.

Active Ageing Programming

Retirement planning, physical and mental wellness workshops and activities, and activities for developing personal interests and skills.

Volunteer Development

Health education seminars, interest classes: oldies singing, African drumming, stretching classes etc.

Recreation & Social Activities

Drop-in centre services, cultural and artistic programming, festive celebrations, organised trips, birthday celebrations, karaoke, hand coordination exercises, brain fitness activities etc.
