The Free Methodist Church of Hong Kong

The Free Methodist church of Hong Kong (FMCHK) has started evangelization of Christian gospels, and providing social services and education services since 1954 and registered as a non-profit organization in 1986. 

Our social services uphold the teaching of Jesus Christ, commitment to“following Christ’s love, caring for all people”. Through effective management and professional expertise, we provides beneficial, multifaceted and high-quality services to those in need. 

Started from 1983, FMCHK has operated elderly care centres, kindergarten, youth service center and counselling services (personal and family counselling). 

The Social Service Committee has been set up to governance and supervise all social services centers. The Social Service Division, under the supervision of the Social Service Committee was also set up in 1994 to handle overall administration, the development and coordination between social services and service units.

Currently FMCHK has 4 service centres that receive that receive subsidy from the Social Welfare Department. They are Free Methodist Church Wong Tai Sin IVY Club located in Chuk Yuen South Estate and Tung Tau Estate in Wong Tai Sin, Free Methodist Church Tak Tin IVY Club located in Tak Tin Estate in Lam Tin, Free Methodist church Bradbury Chun Kei Nursery School located in Yiu On Estate in Ma On Shan, and Free Methodist Church Tuen Mun Children & Youth integrated Services Centre located in Leung King Estate in Tuen Mun. On the other hand, self-funded services include the “Love and Care Social Service in Nursery School” Project, and social enterprises – “Fantastic Café” and “Fantastic Kitchen”, Providing the needy with services such as education, training, development, counseling, caring, etc on moral, intellectual, physical, social, aesthetic and spiritual. The social Service Committee provides guidance and supervision on the operations and development of all units.
