Free Methodist Church Community Chest 50+ Club
Recognising the shortage of dedicated spaces and services for younger seniors, our organisation self-funded a range of "50+ Services" in 2018 for the age group. Thanks to generous support from The Community Chest of Hong Kong for renovation costs, our Lam Tin clubhouse facility opened in 2021. It serves Hong Kong residents aged 50 to 75, designed to help them navigate self-discovery, explore retirement pathways, adapt to post-retirement role transitions, and embrace new life chapters.
Our Vision and Mission
Vision - To be the cornerstone for Hong Kong's 50+ individuals to embark on a vibrant and abundant second life, redefining the value and meaning of retirement, and realizing a life chapter where "all things are possible." Mission - With the love of Christ, we strive for innovative and diversified programs which create a dynamic and supportive platform for 50+ individuals to discover their potential, redefine their roles, and embark on an abundant second life.
Our Facilities
The clubhouse enables members to discover, develop and showcase their unique strengths. It features an auditorium, e-sports lounge, coffee corner, workshop, and a volunteer’s room. Recreational amenities include three soft dartboards, traditional dartboards, arcade machines, exercise bikes and fitness equipment.
