Our service theme centres on “Artistic Journeys”, using creative expression as a catalyst for meaningful life transformation and personal growth among our elderly members. The term is also a play on the word for “perseverance” in Cantonese, reflecting our commitment to supporting lifelong learning and vibrant living.

We deliver comprehensive support that enables elderly people to experience belonging, receive quality care, and make meaningful contributions, ensuring dignified living throughout their golden years.

Recreation & Social Engagement

Our diverse programming, including local trips, social gatherings, festival celebrations, birthday celebrations and community fairs, promotes holistic health while helping members expand their social circle.

Lifelong Learning & Development

Through the integrated “FMC Academy”, we offer a variety of classes such as Cantonese opera, Chinese dance, singing, and floor curling to encourage members to explore new passions, and embrace the spirit of lifelong learning.

Community Partnerships

We collaborate extensively with different organisations, pooling community resources and professional expertise to deliver more diverse services for our elderly members.

Drop-in Centre Services

Our centre offers a welcoming space for members to relax, read the daily papers, use our fitness equipment, and socialise.

Faith-based Activities

Our staff-led Thanksgiving Fellowship sessions provide a peaceful space for members to explore the Christian faith and find spiritual comfort.

Long-term Care Support

Our social workers provide professional assessments and assist individuals with moderate impairments in applying for long-term care services.

Professional Counselling

We offer counselling support to help members navigate personal, emotional, or practical challenges that the elderly may encounter.

Dementia Support Services

Focusing on early prevention and timely diagnosis, we offer preliminary cognitive screenings, educational seminars, cognitive training programmes and support groups for those affected by dementia.

Isolated & Frail Elderly Outreach

Through proactive community outreach, we identify and support isolated or frail elderly lacking adequate assistance. Our services include: case management, regular visits, service applications and referral support.

Carer Support

We provide dedicated support for carers, offering regular support meetings, educational seminars, and access to resources and rehabilitation equipment. We aim to strengthen their caregiving knowledge, empower them in their vital role, and alleviate the pressures of caregiving.

Volunteer Development

We actively recruit and train volunteers, creating opportunities for them to use their talents to serve the community.

Advocating Gerontechnology

We help our members stay connected by offering smartphone classes, and providing opportunities to rent and trial gerontechnology products designed to enhance their quality of life and reduce burdens on their carers.

Retirement Planning

We support pre-retirees in establishing clear goals, maintaining physical and mental wellness, developing healthy lifestyle habits, maintaining positive attitudes, staying socially engaged, and embracing continuous learning.

Healthy Living Education

We promote healthy living to help elderly members form a healthy lifestyle, by hosting events such as health seminars, fitness classes, and regular health screenings.
